Im Falle eines Hardware-Defekts, der den ganzen iMac außer Gefecht setzt, klappt allerdings auch der Target Mode nicht mehr Mac & i antwortet: Apple hat zu diesem Zweck den Target Display Mode eingeführt, der bei bestimmten iMacs zwischen 20 funktioniert.
Google geht zwar auf die Anforderungen ein, aber eine echte Lösung hab ich noch nicht gesehenĭer sogenannte Target Display Mode erlaubte es, den iMac mit einem anderen Mac zu verbinden, um das Displaysignal an den iMac zu schicken. Hier geht es ausschließlich um den Betrieb des iMac im Target Display Mode.Ich dachte, der TargetDisplayMode würde via TB/DisplayPort Transferiert. Meine Hoffnung war, dass man einen Win10 Rechner via TB an den iMac anschließen würde und dort den TargetDisplayMode aktiviert, um das Display für den Win10 Rechner freizugeben.
